Grilled Greek Chicken Tenderloins

Recipe: Grilled Greek Chicken Tenderloins


  • 2-3 lbs chicken tenderloins
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 Tbs dried oregano
  • 2 Tbs fresh chopped rosemary
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 Tbs lemon zest
  • 1 tsp minced garlic


In a zip lock bag add 1/2 cup of olive oil, salt, pepper, oregano, rosemary, dried and fresh thyme, garlic and lemon zest. Mix the dry ingredients in the bag together to incorporate and then add the chicken tenderloins and coat in the marinade. Marinade the tenderloins for 2 hours in the refrigerator and turning the bag over after 1 hour.

Preheat the grill on medium-high heat

With the grill on medium-high heat about 350-400 degrees, place the tenderloins for 3-4 minutes per side with the grill covered. Check for an internal temperature of the chicken breasts to reach 165 degrees.

As a side tip- Serve with grilled pita bread, sliced onions and tomatoes on a bed of rice.

**Makes a great sandwich

Serve with Tzatziki Sauce see**
