Recipe: Naked Buffalo Wings
- 3 lbs chicken wings
- 4 Tbs unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 4 Tbs Frank’s Hot Sauce
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- Celery sticks, for serving
- Ranch of Blue Cheese dressing, for serving
- Cherry Tomatoes, for serving
Preheat the broiler with the rack set 3 inches below the broiler
First wash and pat dry the chicken wings. Remove any pins. Cut the wings into thirds by cutting between the joints using a boning knife and remove and discard only the wing tips. Place the chicken into a large bowl and pour the melted butter, cayenne pepper, hot sauce, and salt over the chicken and mix well to coat the wings. Place the wings on a sheet pan. Broil the chicken wings for 8 minutes and then turn the wings and broil for another 5-7 minutes until they are cooked. Serve the chicken wings hot or warm and with washed cold celery sticks and either ranch or blue cheese dressing and cherry tomatoes.
