Recipe: Mai Tai


  • 1 cup Bacardi light rum
  • 3/4 cup dark rum
  • 1 ¼ cup orange juice
  • 1 ¼ cup pineapple juice
  • 3 oz orgeat syrup


  • Splash of Bacardi 151, optional
  • Pineapple wedges, optional
  • Maraschino cherries, optional


Add the light rum and the dark rum to a pitcher along with the orange and pineapple juices. Next add the orgeat syrup and mix well to combine.

Fill rocks glasses with ice and fill the glasses with the mixture. Top off each glass with Bacardi 151 rum, don’t stir. Garnish each glass with a pineapple wedge and a maraschino cherry. Drink responsibly.
